"Hi, My name is Rabneet Dhaliwal. I received the Manjit Panghali Memorial Scholarship when I graduated from Panorama Ridge Secondary in June 2008. I used to the scholarship money that I received to do classes at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I just started my first semester in the BSN program at Kwantlen in January, which I spent the last two years trying to get into. I felt so honoured to get this scholarship and I want to say thank-you to everyone who helped put it together."

"Hi my name is Brittany Bhattal, I received the Manjit Panghali scholarship in 2008. I used the scholarship towards electives needed for the Bachelor's of Psychiatric Nursing program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I have been accepted into the program and begin my nursing classes in May 2011. I am very grateful for those who put the scholarship fund together as it is a great help for those pursuing post-secondary education. I would like to thank those responsible for the fund as you have assisted me with my career aspirations."

About the Scholarship Fund

The Manjit Panghali Memorial Fund will provide at least 2 - $500 scholarships for students graduating from Panorama High School every year. Panaroma High School was chosen because students from Northridge will go there for high school.

Manjit’s Family would like to thank Carolyn Convey (Manjit’s job share partner) for her dedication, devotion and hard work in setting up the Manjit Panghali Memorial Fund. We would also like to thank the Surrey Foundation for helping to make this possible. Manjit’s family has been overwhelmed by the love and support we have received from the students, staff, and parent’s of Northridge Elementary. Thank you for everything you have done in Manjit’s honour.

Thanks to this scholarship fund, Manjit’s memory will always be honored. Her love of teaching and her love for children will continue to live on.

We can’t wait to be there when the lucky and hardworking student’s are awarded with these scholarships.

Once again, thank you so much for making this possible. Manjit would be so touched and so proud.
